people in hotel are very loud
The hotel was fine and very close to downtown Brooklyn, not far from Manhattan
The room was too small...
A small bagel restaurant that was close to the subway station.
When you go trough the internet it says that it is 5 minutes away from manhatan, and that is not true, it was a 15 min walk to the subway and then at least 8 stations to get to manhatan. The surroundings where kind of scary, but one night we came late on the subway nobody bother us. The hotel smells like cigarrete.
Very noisy due to heavy traffic even at night. No breakfast, small rooms, badsmelling air from AC.
Do not hit anything away from the city, smells of smoke, 30 minutes by bus to get to the station
Very reasonable rates. Ample, free parking on availability basis.
Small rooms and in out-of-way area.
Fairly comfortable room but small.
Couldn't believe there was no coffee available.
Convenience to a particular neighborhood in Brooklyn (Red Hook)
We found our room wasn't as clean as the previous time we stayed here. Walls could use a washing, and good cleaning behind things and in corners.
There were lots of rooms available
There was a cockroach on my pillow when I first went to my room!! Also the snack machine was limited and there were no drinks and it was a 20 minute walk to the shops. Also they charged me a third more to book through here then direct. And the rooms are tiny.
Nice staff and a good location.
Some things were a little dirty but for the money in nyc what do you want?
Staff very nice. Price good. Reasonable distance from subway and Brooklyn neighbourhoods; also quick ride to dt nyc.
More vacuuming needed. Get ridge above shower liner - dirt (if one is tall, we see it).
Price and location were right.
Although there are signs saying the hotel is a non-smoking hotel, the entire place smells like cigarette smoke. I even heard someone ask for a smoking room and the receptionist said, "sure". Do not stay here if you are bothered by cigarette smoke.
The location was good for the subway into ny City. The price was reasonable for the area.
Did not like all the noisey traffic noise late into the night and starting again in the early morning. Very hard to sleep.
Conveniently located at a short distance from Manhattan, for a reasonable price. We were visiting New York from dc on Thanksgiving and stayed one night. This hotel is ideal for a very short stay. However, it did not seem close to public transportation, but we did not check further as we were driving (potential drawback: parking capacity did not high enough for the number of rooms, so might be a problem in high season).
Noisy: our room was situated at the facade opposite to the main entrance and within feet of the road.
